Earthling Racial Passives Explained
Custom Earthlings gain Ki when health is low and activate Power Pole Pro — a unique awakening-like state — when HP drops below roughly seventy-five percent without using a transformation bar. In Power Pole Pro, damage and speed spike dramatically, making Earthlings terrifying comeback characters in PvP. They also receive bonuses to Ki blast damage and stamina recovery on certain skills, and access Transforming Drain Charge for strike builds that steal Ki from opponents. Earthlings do not transform into Super Saiyan, but Potential Unleashed from Elder Kai works fully on them and stacks conceptually with their passive toolkit. They learn unique skills from Hercule's House time rift and mentors like Yamcha, Tien, and Krillin. Earthlings reward players who manage health deliberately rather than always staying at full HP.
Strike Earthling PvP Build
The signature ranked Earthling runs 125 Basic Attacks, 125 Strike Supers, 125 Stamina with Potential Unleashed or no awoken skill until Power Pole Pro triggers. Supers: Pressure Sign, Deadly Dance, Dynamite Kick; ultimate Power Pole or Justice Rush. Super Soul: "You are a disgrace to your race!" or "That was a good fight" to control health threshold. Playstyle: take intentional chip damage early to enter Power Pole Pro, then overwhelm with strike pressure and vanish loops. Guard break with heavy attacks and use Transforming Drain Charge to refill Ki after long strings. Medium height male or female both work; females have faster strings. Avoid healing items in ranked — you want Pro online. Practice defending at low HP because one mistake still kills you despite the passive boost.
Ki Earthling PvE Build
Ki Earthlings leverage racial Ki blast bonuses for PQ farming: 125 Ki, 125 Ki Blast Supers, 125 Health with Potential Unleashed always active. Supers: Bending Kamehameha, Ki Blast Cannon, Maximum Charge; ultimate Super Spirit Bomb. Super Soul: "I'm the strongest!" Power Pole Pro still helps when bosses chip you during long fights. Visit Hercule's House rift for Earthling-exclusive parallel quests and equipment. This build clears PQs faster than strike Earthlings but is weaker in direct PvP unless you hide behind zoning until Pro activates. QQ Bang plus-five Ki and Ki Blast Supers recommended.
Mentors and Skill Progression
Start with Krillin and Yamcha for foundational strike supers. Tien offers Tri-Beam variants for zoning Earthlings. Hercule provides joke skills that still deal decent damage in PvE. Elder Kai unlocks Potential Unleashed — prioritize after advancement tests. Earthlings share many human mentor lines, so skill collection is faster than Frieza Race but narrower than Saiyan. Justice Combination and Power Pole ultimates define the race flavor. For Expert Missions, bring Energy Zone if playing support Earthling with high Health. Transforming Drain Charge is strike-only but excellent in 1v1 when opponents guard often. Yamcha's Wolf Fang Fist variants also fill gaps before you unlock higher-tier strike supers from other mentors.
Advanced Tips and Matchups
Skilled opponents will try to burst you before Power Pole Pro activates. Use guard and evasive conservatively until you cross the health threshold, then flip aggression. Against Majin stall, your burst window must kill before they regen — equip a high-damage ultimate for that matchup. Namekian regen outlasts Earthling Pro if you play too slowly; commit when Pro starts. In PQs, you can stay at low health entire runs for constant Pro uptime — stack with Potential Unleashed for absurd clear speeds once mastered. Document your health threshold in training mode so you know exactly when Pro begins without checking the HUD constantly. Earthlings also benefit from Justice Rush and Dynamite Kick cancels that Saiyans cannot always replicate — lab those strings before taking a low-health build into ranked, because one dropped combo gives opponents a free punish while your passive is still offline.
